Frequently Asked Questions
Q:
How does this work? Will you come to my home prior to
your first visit or do I just tell you what I need done over
the phone?
A:
A free in-home consultation is required. The following
breaks down my policy for new and existing customers:

New customers: in-home consultation two to three
days in advance. This meeting will allow you to:
--Get to know me better. It’s important that you feel
you can trust me.
--See me interact with your pet. It’s important that
your pet feels at ease with me.
--Instruct me on your pets daily care (Pet Profile).
It’s important that I replicate the care they receive on a
daily basis. If your pet loves to be scratched behind
their right ear, I want to know that.
Existing customers: If it has been at least 90 days since
my initial visit, I may request a short pre-visit two to three
days in advance. This will allow your pet to become
reacquainted with me. Over time the pre-visit will not be
necessary.
Q:
I don’t want to fill out tons of paperwork. How easy is
it to do business with you?
A:
Doing business with me couldn’t be easier! During our
initial consultation we’ll fill out a one page “Pet Profile”
detailing everything I need to properly care for your pet.
This is filled out only once and updated as needed. Each time
my services are requested, I will fill out a one page service
agreement detailing the scope of service and agreed upon fee.
That’s it!
Q:
How do I get my key to you? Can I leave it under my
doormat?
A: For your protection, keys should not be left under a
doormat or elsewhere on your property. I require two copies of
your key be given to me during our initial consultation. For
your future convenience, I will keep the keys in a locked
location. Each key is coded and therefore cannot be traced
back to you. If you require your keys to be returned, and you
are a regular customer, a fee will be charged to cover the
time and travel required to do so.
Q:
When do I pay you?
A:
Payment is due at the signing of the service agreement.
Q:
How much time will be spent with my pet?
A:
Each visit is typically 30 minutes, however, this can
be modified based on your specific needs.

Q:
Will you let me know how everything went while I was
gone?
A:
All visits are documented, so you will always know what
happened while you were away. During long term care,
additional forms of communication (phone or email) can be
arranged so you don’t have to wait until you get home.
Q:
Do you have insurance coverage?
A:
Yes, I am insured and bonded for your protection.
